How to Configure a Custom Time Frame in the TeleCloud Portal

In this guide, you’ll learn how to create and configure a Custom Time Frame in your TeleCloud portal.

 

Custom time frames are powerful because they let you combine multiple scheduling types, such as days of the week, specific dates, and holidays, into one flexible configuration.

Follow the steps below to set up your own custom time frame:

Step 1: Open the Time Frames Section
- From your TeleCloud portal home screen, click on the Time Frames tile.
- This will display all your existing time frames.

Step 2: Add a New Time Frame
- Click the red “Add Time Frame” button in the upper right corner of the screen.
- A pop-up window will appear.

Step 3: Name Your Time Frame
- In the pop-up, give your time frame a clear and descriptive name.
- Example: Training User, Business + Holiday Schedule, or Custom Routing.

Step 4: Select “Custom” as the Time Frame Type
- Choose Custom from the list of time frame options.
- Custom time frames allow you to combine multiple schedule types—Days of the Week, Specific Dates, and Holidays, in one configuration.

Step 5: Save to Open the Configuration Screen
- Click Save.
- The system will open a new screen where you can build your custom schedule.

Step 6: Add Schedule Elements
- Click the red “Add” button.
- Choose what type of schedule you want to add:
  - Day of the Week
  - Specific Date
  - Holiday

Step 7: Configure Each Element
- Set each schedule based on your needs. For example:
  - Regular weekday business hours.
  - Special routing for holidays.
  - Temporary closures or after-hours schedules.
- Use the same process as in other time frame types:
  - Select the type, set your days or dates, define start and end times, and Save.

Step 8: Build Out Your Complete Custom Time Frame
- Repeat the add-and-configure process until your schedule includes all desired time frame types.
- Once complete, click Back to finalize and return to the main dashboard.

Step 9: Review and Edit Your Custom Time Frame
- You’ll now see your new Custom Time Frame listed under your user profile.
- You can click back into it anytime to edit, add, or adjust schedule elements.

Step 10: Apply and Use Your Custom Time Frame
- Your Custom Time Frame is now active.
- TeleCloud will automatically route calls based on your custom setup, giving you full control and flexibility for every schedule scenario.
