How to Send SMS/MMS from TeleCloud Pro Mobile on Android

This feature lets you stay connected with customers and colleagues from one platform, no switching between apps required.

Follow the steps below to start messaging in TeleCloud PRO:

Step 1: Open the Messaging Section
- From the top menu, tap the Message icon, located to the left of the Dial Pad icon.
- This will take you to the Messaging section of the app.

Step 2: View Your Recent Conversations
- Here, you’ll see a list of your recent message threads, including both internal chats and SMS messages.
- Internal chats are marked with a small icon next to the contact’s name for easy identification.
- Tap any conversation to open it and view your message history.

Step 3: Start a New Message
- To begin a new message, tap the green plus (+) icon in the bottom right corner.
- Your address book will open automatically, allowing you to:
- Search for contacts by name.
- Type a phone number directly to send an SMS or MMS.

Step 4: Send an Internal Chat Message
- If you want to message a team member within your organization:
- Tap Address Book in the top right corner.
- Select Company Directory.
- This switches your view to show internal users on your phone system.
- Tap a user’s name to start your internal chat conversation.

Step 5: Send an SMS Message
- To send a standard text message:
- Go back to the Address Book and find the contact or number you want to text.
- Tap the contact to start a new conversation.
- In the conversation view, tap inside the message box to open your keyboard.
- Type your message, then tap Send.
- The message will appear immediately in your chat thread, and replies will appear in the same conversation view.

Step 6: Send an MMS Message (with Photos or Files)
- To send a media file, such as an image or document:
- Tap the paperclip icon next to the message box.
- Choose the type of file you’d like to send (for example, Photo).
- Select Gallery and browse your albums to find the image you want.
- Tap the photo, add a short caption or message if desired, then tap Send.
- Your MMS message will appear in the chat thread along with the attached photo or file.
- Replies from the recipient, including any media they send, will appear in the same thread.
