How to Use Allow and Block Call Lists in the TeleCloud Portal

In this guide, you’ll learn how to manage your Allow and Block Call Lists in the TeleCloud portal.

 

These tools help you control unwanted calls, reduce spam, and ensure that important calls always reach you.

Follow the steps below to configure your allow and block lists:

Step 1: Open the Allow and Block List Settings
- Log in to your TeleCloud user portal.
- Navigate to the section where you can manage your Allow and Block lists.
- This section helps you decide which callers can reach you and which ones are automatically blocked.

Step 2: Add Numbers to the Allow List
- If legitimate calls are being flagged or sent to spam, you can override that behavior by adding the number to your Allow List.
- Enter the phone number you want to allow and save your changes.
- Calls from numbers on this list will always come through, regardless of other filters.

Step 3: Add Numbers to the Block List
- To block unwanted or spam numbers, enter the phone number in your Block List.
- Calls from numbers on this list will be prevented from reaching your phone.

Step 4: Block Anonymous or Private Callers
- Check the option labeled “Block Anonymous Calls” if you want to stop callers who hide their caller ID.
- This prevents any call without visible caller ID information from reaching your extension.

Step 5: Save Your Preferences
- Once you’ve added numbers to your Allow or Block lists, click Save to apply your settings.
- Your updates take effect immediately and will automatically integrate with your Answering Rules.

Step 6: Understand How These Settings Work
- These preferences apply only to your individual extension and user profile — not organization-wide.
- From now on, your Answering Rules will automatically follow these filters:
  - Blocked and spam numbers will be handled based on your rule settings (voicemail, screen, or reject).
  - Allowed numbers will always reach you, even if call screening or filtering is active.

Pro Tip: Review your lists regularly to keep them accurate. This ensures your system stays free of spam while allowing trusted callers to get through every time.
