How can voicemail management be accessed from outside the extension, and where is this option set up?

Accessing to voicemail from outside of the building

Voicemail management from outside the extension can be set up on the Main TOD (Time of Day) of the company. To access, press * when calling the main number, follow the steps to enter any extension number, and provide the account number (extension) followed by the voicemail PIN when prompted.
