In troubleshooting physical connections with the Pangea FAX ATA, when should replacing the FAX ATA be considered?

Troubleshooting physical Fax ATA

Replacing the FAX ATA should be the last troubleshooting step after addressing issues with power, fax port connection, and WAN connectivity following the next steps:

Step1: Power adapter connects to the Power port and the other end connects to a Power outlet
Its very important the Power LED is lit up Green

Step 2: On the ATA there is a FAX Port. RJ 45 cable needs to connect from the ATA FAX PORT to the customer's Fax machine. If not connected properly. Customer will be having fax issues

Step 3: WAN Port on the ATA. Ethernet/Patch cable needs to be contend there and on the other end could be connected to a "WORKING" wall jack, switch or router.

Its very important the WAN LED is lit up Green. If no green light. The fax ata will not be able to receive an IP Address. Root cause can be a bad cable, bad wall jack, bad port on the switch, or the router ran out of IPS to give to the the device or hardware issue on the ATA.
